1949 AirChime H5 #24

This horn was manufactured in September, 1949 and placed into service on one of BC Hydro's 70 ton switchers. It is one of the earliest examples of multi-chime air horns developed by Robert Swanson and is one of nine left in existence. This particular H5 plays the melodious C 6th diminished chord, but can be tuned to several different chords.
